I agree that we should all focus on what we have our own checklists and if it differs with society’s, then that’s okay. Dishes? Practice & practice & practice. Maybe this is a bit sexist of me, but I think that women tend to spend a bit more time then men pursuing opinions and information on self-improvement. It’s definitely important to make sure we are true to ourselves. Oh, you can definitely work out in a gym, but you cannot look masculine or be stronger than a man. I just hear funny conversations with people where they say, “She doesn’t have kids? I’m not quite sure what this comment has to do with my blog post, but thanks anyway?It was simply an attempt to agree with you on your blog post and use humor to mock those would question a woman’s right to chose either end of the spectrum from stay at home mom to astronaut and anything in between. I don’t know if WANT kids of my own. I seem to fall into the opposite stereotype of not having it all at all! Can't understand why one would respond everyday for a week or so, then stop responding sometimes for days or up to 6 days!! Women are judged so harshly it’s fulled worldwide debates.As everyone continues to debate if women can “have it all” (or if “having it all” should even be discussed anymore), I hope that more people start coming around to the idea that women can make individual choices and that the only thing that should matter is that women are happy and fulfilling their own personal dreams. Women are analyzed from every angle.
It just needs to matter to him or her that you feel bad.A good partner shows respect—for you as a person, and for your boundaries. If we all were men, or women humans would expire. I think the media is just making a huge deal because she is a woman, and women are still told that we must be a certain way. We cannot escape judgement.The problem with this is that society has made it impossible for women to “have it all” because society has a specific opinion on what “it all” is. I can totally relate. Women to have feelings and emotions as well as a cold heart when it comes to careers and or businesses. It seems weird to me that people still think a women should do this or that, when it really doesn’t matter as long as she’s happy.
