We aim to break intergenerational...We are an independent charity with four residential family assessment centres in South London. Our team of specialists undertake a full and thorough review of all the family’s records and then undertake an initial assessment in the family’s home before preparing a tailor-made intervention programme of learning and support. At the end of the assessment, we prepare a highly detailed, evidence based report for the court, making recommendations about what's best for the child. Assessment may be in three phases:We continually develop practice in line with experience and the evolving evidence base.Some centres may be slightly different in offering additional features: for example, some centres include sensory rooms or sensory gardens. This is known as ‘Finsley’ house. A Residential Family Centre is where parents stay for approximately 12 weeks so that they can undergo a parenting assessment. We also offer educational workshops on Domestic Abuse, Protection Awareness and Attachment and Bonding. Foundations® Residential Family Assessment Centres offer a wide range of parenting assessments that are robust, fair and evidence based. A Manager will respond to you as soon as possible and will make a decision based on need, risk and the current group dynamic. The centres offer a 24 hour supportive and safe residential environment.
